Save Honest John

     "Kingsport’s beloved Big John statue is getting a makeover and moving to a new location. Big John sat atop the former Pratt’s BBQ on Stone Drive from the 1970s until March 2025, when the statue was accidentally destroyed during a move to a new location. Despite the damage, Big John was auctioned to John Hendricks, who plans to have the statue restored and relocate it to a new mini-golf course, Rocky Top Golf."
